Presentation deck
A full brand identity for a fictional museum dedicated to defunct internet moments, discontinued products, and cultural trends that didn't survive. The system includes a modular logo built from the wordmark's own letterforms, a ten-color palette named entirely for the extinct trends it represents, and a photography direction split between clinical specimen shots and documentary images of objects at their real-world endpoints.
Objective
To create a brand identity for a museum dedicated to forgotten trends.
The concept
A museum for the trends the world once loved and completely forgot. It calls attention to throwaway culture: what we obsess over collectively doesn't disappear, it gets replaced, then rediscovered as an artifact. Trend history and pop culture commentary.
Framing the trends the internet already forgot
A museum for the trends the world once loved and completely forgot. It calls attention to throwaway culture. What we obsess over collectively doesn't disappear, it gets replaced, then rediscovered as an artifact. Trend history and pop culture commentary.
Why the frame?
The shape around the logomark is a freeze-frame. The frame does the convincing. Once you're in, you don't need it anymore.
Full Logo
Used for signage and high-visibility placements, where the frame does its job.
Logomark (with or without the frame)
Used on its own for close-up, tangible touch points like stationery, social media, favicon, and merch.
Wordmark
Used on its own where space is tight or horizontal like stationary, email signatures, merch.
